Every March our attentions turns to The Spot in Randwick as we celebrate The Spot Festival. It’s the spot to be, but just why is it called The Spot? Our Local Studies Librarian Georgina Keep found out the answer is not straightforward. One of the most asked questions about our local history is “How did ‘The Spot’ gets its name?”.
