First section of Kingsford to Centennial Park cycleway now open

Cycling between Kingsford and the City just got a little easier with the first stage of a 1.8km separated cycleway officially opened on Friday 10 November 2023, by Randwick Mayor Philipa Veitch. The new 1.1km cycleway section starts at the intersection of Houston Road and Barker Street and travels north onto Day Avenue and then Doncaster Avenue finishing at Todman Avenue. The next 700m section between Todman Avenue and Alison Road along Doncaster Avenue will open in late December 2023.
