WHAT IS NATIONAL RECONCILIATION WEEK

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June. Randwick City Council is upgrading the playground in Ella Reserve, Lucas Avenue Malabar. After consulting the community late last year, we have developed a concept design that has enlarged the play area and provides more play equipment, including opportunities for climbing. Celebrating Aboriginal ceremony, tradition & culture Council, in conjunction with the La Perouse Local Aboriginal Land Council, holds the annual Koojay Corroboree on Coogee Beach to launch Reconciliation Week. This year the event will be held on Friday 27 May 2022 from 11am.
