Libraries in the Park

Libraries in the Park, Centennial Park

Woollahra, Randwick, and Waverley Libraries are celebrating the Spark Truck, our shared library outreach truck and we want you to join the party. Bring along a picnic blanket and join us for lots of fun outdoors. There will be plenty of games to play, craft to enjoy and storytime sessions to delight and so much more. This event for families with children of all ages but most suited for those with kids aged 0-5 years. It is weather permitting and may be cancelled at short notice due to inclement weather.

Model Making Craft

Animate a mate or so much more! Create a small clay model of a loved one, maybe a small pet or a curious creature of your own design. Step into a world of endless possibilities and unleash your creativity with our virtual reality art workshop. Led by experienced VR artist and facilitator Jane Venegas, this workshop will provide you with the knowledge to use virtual reality and create 3D masterpieces in a digital canvas.

It will also introduce you to the exciting world of VR and the powerful Tilt Brush tool, allowing you to create and manipulate 3D shapes, add textures, lighting, and create animations.

Skateboarding clinics

School Holiday Skateboarding Clinics – Lyne Park

Are your kids eager to learn more about skateboarding and build their skills? Join ‘Skate Now’s’ school holiday clinics at Lyne Park Rose Bay!

These group lessons are perfect for kids of all skill levels, from complete beginners to intermediate riders looking to improve their technique.

Accredited instructors will teach the fundamental skills involved in riding a skateboard, and the supportive environment is designed to help kids build confidence as they learn.

With an emphasis on safety and fun, we provide all the necessary equipment for the clinics, including skateboards and protective gear. The 2-hour clinics are packed with exciting activities, from basic riding techniques to learning cool tricks and mastering skatepark obstacles. Plus, your child will have the opportunity to make new friends and become part of our supportive skateboarding community.
