Maths and English Programmes
Our Maths and English programmes are designed to guide students and develop the knowledge and understanding they need to excel academically and beyond. Whether it’s building a solid foundation in numeracy or honing their language skills, our programmes are tailored to meet the specific requirements of each grade level. We understand that a solid foundation in these subjects is essential for a student’s overall development.
Self-Directed Learning
One of the cornerstones of our approach is self-directed learning. When students are actively engaged in their education, they learn better and develop skills that will serve them throughout their lives. Our programmes encourage students to take ownership of their learning, set goals, and work towards achieving them. Tailored Learning
Every child has unique strengths and areas where they may need extra support. Our approach is to tailor our programme to the individual needs of each student. This includes one-on-one sessions with experienced tutors who can provide targeted assistance. We celebrate each student’s progress, no matter how small, because we believe every step forward is a victory.
Parent Involvement
We understand that education is a collaborative effort. Parents are integral to a child’s educational journey, and we encourage active involvement. We provide regular updates on a student’s progress, and our team is always available to address parents’ concerns or questions. We can create a supportive learning environment that nurtures each child’s growth.
Week to Week
To support your child’s learning in Maths and/or English week to week, we call our programme a “5-day-a-week programme”. This sounds like a lot! So let’s break it down.
Students typically attend classes for 30-40 minutes on Monday and Thursday afternoons per subject. During this time, they receive guidance and feedback from an Instructor on the work they are assigned today.
On the other 3 weekdays, homework is assigned. This homework is designed to be completed quickly (15-20 minutes each day), which is manageable.
This 5-day-a-week programme also means your child will develop a good study routine and study attitude. When your child enjoys the learning process each day and knows what to expect based on a routine, they will be more eager to study and try new things.
