A new chapter in the Bronte Surf Life Saving Club and Community Facilities upgrade project

Waverley Council is advising the community that the updated development application (DA) for the Bronte Surf Club and Community Facilities upgrade project has been formally submitted. The DA is now live to view on Council’s DA Tracker using reference number DA-455/2022 and will be assessed by the Sydney Eastern City Planning Panel [the approval authority]. Installation of new BBQs at Bronte Beach

February 9, 2023

New barbecues will be installed in Bronte Park from Monday 20 February 2023 and work is expected to take three weeks to complete (weather permitting). During this time, power to existing barbecues will be cut to facilitate works. Council has engaged DA Christie to complete these works and work hours will be from 7am-5pm Monday to Friday and 8am-1pm Saturdays (if required). Sculpture by the Sea will return to the Bondi to Tamarama Beach coastal walk as the world’s largest free to the public sculpture exhibition. Barbecue facilities at Bronte Park, Have Your Say!

Waverley Council is inviting the community to check out our plans for our new barbecue facilities at Bronte Park. The Council will be installing four new accessible barbeques in the park near the existing picnic shelters, including one near the children’s playground. Bronte Park is one of Waverley’s most popular picnic spots for families visiting the beach and ocean pool. It is also a popular exercise spot on the Bondi to Bronte Coastal Walk and a place to relax.
