Coral Sea Park Inclusive playspace now open for everyone to play

A new inclusive playspace in Maroubra’s Coral Sea Park will be opened by the Hon Anthony Roberts, Minister for Planning and Homes and Mayor Dylan Parker on Wednesday 3 August. Council received $200,000 funding from the NSW Government’s Everybody Can Play program to upgrade the existing playground and create a world class playspace that has been designed to include everyone in the community. Randwick City Council is upgrading the playground in Ella Reserve, Lucas Avenue Malabar. After consulting the community late last year, we have developed a concept design that has enlarged the play area and provides more play equipment, including opportunities for climbing. Popular Dog walking areas in the waverly council area

The Waverly Council has several designated areas for on-leash and off-leash dog walking. Each location has signs to indicate this. Dog owners are responsible for acknowledging appropriate signage. Unless signposted otherwise or a prohibited area under the NSW Animal Companion ActThis external link will open in a new window, dogs are allowed on leash across the Waverley Area. Dog litter bag dispensers are available at all off-leash parks, however we recommend always carrying dog bags with you when you’re walking your dog, to ensure you don’t get caught out. Waverley Council is inviting the community to check out our plans for our new barbecue facilities at Bronte Park. The Council will be installing four new accessible barbeques in the park near the existing picnic shelters, including one near the children’s playground.
