Spring has sprung, birds are singing, flowers are blooming and school’s out for Spring break. These school holidays there are some wonderful garden-themed activities on offer for kids of all ages. There are creative craft workshops, movies and more.  And best of all, they’re really affordable and some are even free!

School Holiday events at the Library

Come along and enjoy our exciting Spring garden-themed events at Woollahra, Paddington and Watsons Bay libraries, where kids can build bird house or a fairy garden and relax in front of a movie. Find out more and book.

Garden Home Design Craft (5-9yrs)

Construct a small bird house for local birds to visit, or a little home for your own gnome or fairy garden. With a bit of paint and imagination, make your own homely masterpiece. All materials supplied.

Need something to do these school holidays? Come into the library and enjoy our garden themed Friday Flicks, sure to make your Friday afternoon more enjoyable!

This film is a creative twist on the classic Shakespearean tale! Two young garden gnomes, Gnomeo and Juliet, try to avoid tragedy and find everlasting happiness together when they are caught in a feud between neighbours.

School Holiday Skateboarding Clinics – Lyne Park

Calling all kids who are keen to learn more about skateboarding. SKATE NOW is offering their popular Kids Skate program again, suitable for children 5-13 yrs. This kids skate holiday program is based on gradated learning, skill development and fun! There will be two 50-minute beginner sessions at 9:15am and 10:30am.
