Playgroups in Sydneys Eastern Suburbs

Looking for a warm, welcoming way to get out of the house, meet other local parents and give your little one a chance to learn, explore and make friends? Playgroups in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs offer the perfect mix of connection, community and fun.

From Bondi to Botany, Coogee to Kingsford, Maroubra to Rose Bay and beyond, our vibrant local playgroups create safe, relaxed spaces where babies, toddlers and preschoolers can learn through play – while parents and carers build their own village. Whether you’re searching for a baby playgroup, a school-readiness session, a multicultural language group, a music-based program or a casual drop-in during school term, there’s something to suit every family.

Many Eastern Suburbs playgroups are low-cost, community-run and held in welcoming venues such as community centres, churches, schools and neighbourhood hubs. Expect singing, craft, sensory play, outdoor time, story sessions and plenty of coffee-fuelled chats with other mums, dads and carers who understand exactly what this stage of life is like.

If you’re new to the area, returning to work soon, on parental leave, or simply keen to expand your support network, joining a local playgroup is one of the easiest ways to feel connected.

Here is your ultimate guide to playgroups in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs – updated with locations, session times and contact details to help you find the perfect fit for your family.
