Waverley Council invites families to celebrate the New Year at Dover Heights.
Dudley Page Reserve is perfect for families with a relaxed family entertainment plus amazing views of the harbour fireworks.
Bring a picnic and rug and enjoy this New Years Eve Family event with a free jumping castle, face painting, playground, DJ, music & dancing. Licensed bar & food stalls. Or just sit back and relax the whole night with friends and family watching the incredible views of the fireworks display.
Where: Page Dudley Reserve, Dover Heights
When: Saturday 31 December 2016; 6pm-12.30am. Queue to get access starts around 4.30pm

2. Coogee Sparkles
Coogee Beach has a special 9:00pm fireworks on which is great for the kids. There are many vantage points and despite what occurred last weekend with the trouble at the beach, the area will be well policed and patrolled and Randwick Council encourages locals and lovers of Coogee Beach to come down and support the 20minute firework display.

3. Perceival Park
Collins Ave Rose Bay.
Free entry, set up a picnic, get in early to get a good vantage spot has great views of the harbour. No BYO alcohol or glass, bring your own food.

4. Dumaresq Reserve, Rose Bay
No BYO alcohol, again get in early to get a good vantage spot also good for picnic as not food or drink for sale in this area.

5. Robertson Park, Watsons Bay
Great location but not that accessible by car unless you get in early or are willing to use public transport. Entry is free but like all other free locations get in early to reserve the best spots and take your own food and drink. No BYO alcohol
