Get ready to swap the beach for the ice as Bondi Festival’s much-loved Ice Rink returns to Bondi Beach this winter.
Located right beside the ocean, the outdoor rink offers a unique chance to enjoy ice skating with stunning views of Bondi Beach. Whether you’re a first-time skater or a seasoned pro, it’s a fun experience for all ages.
The rink will be open every day during Bondi Festival, making it a great family activity during the school holidays and a perfect winter outing with friends.
For younger skaters and beginners, push-along penguins are available to help build confidence on the ice. As the sun goes down, the rink lights up, creating a magical atmosphere under the stars.
Learn to Skate
Want to improve your skating skills? Stars on Ice will be running Learn to Skate classes every Saturday at 9am with champion figure skaters. No experience is needed, so everyone is welcome to join.
Skating for a Good Cause
This year, Bondi Festival is partnering with Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation (SCHF).
For every ticket sold, $1 will be donated to help support sick and injured children across New South Wales. The funds help provide life-saving equipment, support families, fund research and improve healthcare services for thousands of children every year.
So while you’re having fun on the ice, you’ll also be helping make a difference.
Rain or Shine
The Ice Rink is an outdoor attraction and operates in most weather conditions, including rain. If wet weather is forecast, your session will usually still go ahead, so be sure to bring a raincoat and warm clothing. Umbrellas are not permitted on the ice.
