Presented by Bondi Pavilion and performed by Sydney’s acclaimed physical theatre company Legs On The Wall, WAVERIDER combines spectacular acrobatics, surfing-inspired movement and interactive fun in a celebration of everything we love about the ocean.
A Giant Wave, Flying Acrobats and Plenty of WOW Moments!
Imagine watching talented performers leap, tumble and balance across a giant inflatable ocean wave, bringing the excitement of surfing to life without getting wet!
That’s the magic of WAVERIDER.
Inspired by the thrill of catching waves, paddling beyond the breakers and the occasional spectacular wipeout, this energetic 30-minute performance captures the joy and adventure of a day at the beach.
Expect jaw-dropping acrobatics, playful movement and plenty of moments that will have the kids watching in amazement.
The show also celebrates the incredible marine life living beneath the waves and reminds audiences why caring for our oceans and looking after one another is so important.
The Best Part? Kids Can Ride the Wave Too!
Here’s where things get even more exciting!
After each performance, the giant inflatable wave becomes an interactive play experience, giving children the chance to climb aboard and show off their own moves.
It’s a fantastic opportunity for kids to get active, have fun and experience the excitement of the show for themselves.
Important for parents: Free-play sessions follow each performance. Registrations open 15 minutes before each show begins, and a parent or guardian must complete a waiver for every child participating.
