Coogee is set to come alive this autumn with the launch of Coogee Nights, a brand new series of vibrant community events taking over the heart of Coogee Village.
Across four exciting Wednesday nights – 4 and 18 March, and 1 and 15 April 2026 – a section of Coogee Bay Road (from Arden Street to Brook Street) will be closed to traffic and transformed into a lively open-air celebration from 5.30pm to 9pm.
Families, locals and visitors are invited to enjoy outdoor dining, shopping, free live music, kids’ activities and interactive entertainment – all just moments from Coogee Beach.
What to Expect at Coogee Nights
Each event will feature three dedicated zones, offering something for all ages:
Live Music Zone (Beach End)
A buzzing stage showcasing talented performers and high-energy entertainment.
Play Zone (Central Area)
Perfect for families, with games, interactive activities and fun experiences for kids.
Chill Zone (Western End)
A relaxed space featuring a silent disco and silent cinema – ideal for teens, parents and anyone wanting to unwind.
Local businesses will also extend their trading onto the street, creating a welcoming village atmosphere with alfresco dining and late-night shopping.
Coogee Nights has been developed in consultation with local businesses and the community, and is proudly funded by the NSW Government in association with Randwick City Council.
