With just weeks left until tens of thousands of runners will take to the world-famous 14km course between the CBD and Bondi Beach now is the perfect time to sign up and start training.

Over 50,000 runners have already committed to being on the start line in August, with great support for the 2023 event.

“With today marking 50 days until this year’s City2Surf it’s the perfect time to sign up and be a part of the world’s largest fun run,” said Mashford. “The beauty of the City2Surf is that it’s open to people of all abilities, with people running, walking and even dancing their way from the CBD to Bondi Beach.

“The City2Surf has a great community atmosphere, with it bringing people from all walks of life together and is a great celebration of being active and all that is great about Sydney,” he said. “Over the years the City2Surf has grown to be the biggest fun run in the world and we can’t wait to welcome runners back to the streets of Sydney this August.

“The City2Surf holds a special place in the hearts of so many people in Sydney, it provides a great opportunity to come together and train for a common goal,” said Mashford. “The event also plays an important role for numerous charitable organisations, with City2Surf runners raising over $51 million for charities in need since 2008, with the event aiming to raise over $3.5 million this year.”
