We’ve been waiting the entire year for summer and now it’s here! The kids are on school holidays for six weeks and we’ve got some fun-filled activities to keep the kids entertained in December and January. There are creative craft workshops, games, movies and more. And best of all, they’re really affordable and some are even free!
School Holiday events at the Library

Kids Kindness Craft (5-12 yrs)
Build a better world through acts of kindness and of course – craft! Craft lovely little beads and badge projects in this session to decorate your world or to gift to others and make them smile. All materials supplied.

Book a Spot with a Bot (5-12 yrs)
Parents are invited to spend an hour with their child to explore the world of mini robotics. Specially prepared kits, instruction sheets and activities will be provided for you to complete a coding challenge together.

Friday Flicks – DC League of Super-Pets [PG]

Minecraft Workshop – Build a Better World (7-12yrs)
Get into coding and creativity in this 2 hour Minecraft – Build a Better World workshop. Lead by the experts at World of Minecraft, take part in building virtual worlds and overcoming a variety of build challenges using the Minecraft platform. Participants will receive a goody bag for participating in this session.

Friday Flicks – Paw Patrol The Movie [G]
Enjoy the Paw Patrol TV series? Watch your favourite characters in their biggest adventure yet! School Holiday Skateboarding Clinics – Lyne Park
Calling all kids who are keen to learn more about skateboarding. SKATE NOW is offering their popular Kids Skate program again, suitable for children 5-13 yrs. This kids skate holiday program is based on gradated learning, skill development and fun! There will be two 50-minute beginner sessions at 9am and 10:15am.
