Clifftop Walkway upgrade works set to commence

April 28, 2023

Waverley Council is upgrading sections of the boardwalk along the Clifftop Walkway at Dover Heights and Vaucluse to make it safer and more enjoyable for all users. The Diamond Bay Boardwalk will be upgraded first as it is a critical part of the coastal walk and has high visitation rates. Works will start next month and are expected to take seven months to complete, weather permitting. Construction along Eastern Reserve, Vaucluse will start in the next financial year. The project is being co-funded through the NSW Government’s Public Spaces Legacy Program and Waverley Council. The upgrade includes: improved viewing decks, stairs, balustrades and…
