Spot On: Carnival comes to Randwick!

The lineup for Spot On this Thursday 19 September 2024 has a distinct Brazilian flavour. Expect feverish beats and high energy stomping! Kick off the night with DJ, Lady Chika, who will be mixing tunes from 6pm at The Spot in Randwick. If dancing to the beat of your own drum is not your thing, samba along with Rhythm Brazil from 6.30pm. Driver workshops

Teaching Learner Drivers Workshop Each year the Randwick City Council is providing two free workshops for parents and supervisors of learner drivers. The workshops offer tips and tricks on how you can guide L-plate drivers to be safe drivers. Workshops are delivered on-line and you must register to attend to recieve the link. Did you know? In 2012, 33% of drivers involved in a speed-related crash in the Randwick City area were aged between 17 and 25. Randwick’s newest family-friendly street dining festival, Spot On, returns every till  Thursday 28 October 2024, sporting a fresh lineup of entertainers to keep The Spot buzzing. Good news for Electric car owners in Randwick

The Randwick City Council is amping up electric vehicle use with 100 new public charging spaces. Randwick City Council residents will have access to 100 new electric vehicle (EV) charging spaces by the end of 2025 as part of a joint council effort to support residents to make the switch to EVs. The ‘Charging the East’ initiative, an electric vehicle project coordinated through Randwick, Waverley and Woollahra councils, will increase the number of EV charging spots in the Randwick City Council area alone from 40 to 140 in less than 18 months.
