Coogee Sparkles

Join us for our annual Coogee Sparkles event on Saturday 31 December 2022 at Goldstein Reserve, Coogee. At 9pm a 15-minute fireworks display will entertain the audience from the north end of Coogee Beach, near Dunningham Reserve. Tips for Coogee Sparkles: This event is popular, so arrive early to secure a spot. Parking is very limited. Please walk, cycle or use public transport or ride share services (drop off/collection points will be advertised on Council’s website). Emergency Response Beacons Installed at Malabar Beach and Little Bay

Two Emergency Response Beacons (ERBs) have been installed at Little Bay and Malabar beaches as part of Randwick City Council’s ongoing commitment to improving beach safety. “The installation of the new beacons can give our community peace of mind, knowing that emergency services can be notified of an incident and help can be on the way quickly,” said Dylan Parker, Mayor of Randwick. The ERBs stand approximately 10ft tall, with cameras and a solar panel mounted at the top, which powers the unit.
