Randwick City Council has reopened the popular Alison Park Playground, unveiling an exciting, colourful and novel new playground for children of all ages and abilities. “We’re so excited to open this beautiful new playground to the public. It’s brighter, safer, more engaging and inclusive for children of all ages and abilities. By all reports, it is also a lot more fun!”, said Randwick Mayor Philipa Veitch. “It’s the latest of eight playgrounds that Randwick Council has upgraded in the last five years, part of our ongoing commitment to improving open spaces and to the wellbeing of children and their families.”….

How cool are rainbow lorikeets? You can find them all around our local area, in trees and on balconies. Learn more about this ‘hairy’ tongue bird and what you can do to help keep them healthy and happy. What do lorikeets eat? Lorikeets are fairly unique in the parrot world in that they are primarily nectivorous – feeding on nectar, pollen and flowers and sometimes soft fruits.
