Calling all astronauts: Waverley Park Playground has officially reopened!

Local children dressed in astronaut costumes delighted in Waverley Council’s official reopening this morning of the inclusive Waverley Park Playground, home to Sydney’s newest rocket ship and bespoke launch control play tower. The new playground is the cornerstone of the Waverley Park upgrade project, proudly co-funded by the NSW Government, through the NSW Public Spaces Legacy Program, in association with the Council. Free Balance Bike Clinics

Kids start on balance bikes and once confident, can move onto pedal bikes. This is an interactive class designed to get parents involved in their children’s learning. Suitable for children aged 3 to 8 years. Bikes and helmets are provided, or you can bring your own. No need to book, just turn up and register with the instructors at the Sydney Park Cycling Centre. Clinics run every Saturday 9am to 11am except public holidays and during our Christmas break.
