Woollahra Council needs your help redesigning two playgrounds in the Eastern Suburbs!
Thornton Reserve at Bellevue Hill or Spring Street Reserve in Paddington are both getting makeovers, and the council wants to know what you’d like to see there.
The idea is to make both spaces more accessible, safe and enjoyable, but council’s designers know that nobody knows parks and playgrounds better than the children and parents who play and hang out in them every day.
The feedback process is actually pretty cool: you can fill in a survey, but you can also upload pictures of other play spaces you love to be added to a mood board.
The deadline to give council your feedback is December 5. All the responses will then be reviewed and used to develop draft concept plans for both upgrades, which will be shared with parents and residents to make sure Council has got it right before construction starts next year.
We can’t wait to see the new playgrounds!
