chosen to feature our top favourite playgrounds in Sydney’s eastern suburbs with amazing views.
1. Little Bay Park
You don’t even feel like you are in Sydney when venturing down to lovely Little Bay. Here you will find a great playground with a sun shelter and spectacular views of the Pacific ocean looking over the golf course. Easy non metered street parking, local Waterline Cafe nearby and toilets.

2. Bronte
This recently renovated playground is situated in the picturesque Bronte Park one of Sydney’s prettiest eastern suburbs beaches.
Features a great sandpit, swings, climbing equipment. There are local cafes, bbq’s and amenities nearby. Only downside is that parking can be challenging on weekends and is metered. Northern side of the park street parking is non metered parking but gets full quickly…still worth it !

3. Blenheim Reserve Playground
Hidden away high up on the hill, this fenced playground has amazing views of both the city skyline and overlooking Coogee beach and the ocean towards Clovelly Beach. There are no nearby cafes or toilet facilities in walking distance but if you BYO picnic or food it’s a quiet spot with some pretty amazing views.

4. Watsons Bay Playground
Great shady playground with loads to do for both older kids and toddlers. Has nearby toilet facilities, street parking and you can walk across to the road the Watsons Bay Hotel if you need a takeaway coffee or some snacks.
Just be mindful on summer weekends it can get busy at this location so parking can be a premium but weekdays are delightful….enjoy some fish and chips!
5. Malabar Playground
Large sun shaded area that caters for older kids and also toddlers, is fully fenced and looks out over Malabar Bay. There is a nearby café across the road which i is great for coffee or snacks otherwise its also a good picnic spot with bbq and toilet facilities. It can get busy in summer with beach goers and picnicers so get early to grab a spot.
