Teaching Learner Drivers Workshop
Each year the Randwick City Council is providing two free workshops for parents and supervisors of learner drivers. The workshops offer tips and tricks on how you can guide L-plate drivers to be safe drivers. Workshops are delivered on-line and you must register to attend to recieve the link.
Did you know? In 2012, 33% of drivers involved in a speed-related crash in the Randwick City area were aged between 17 and 25.
Next workshop: Wednesday 11 September 2024 – 6.00pm
Hosted by Randwick City Council, and supported by Transport for NSW, the 90 minute workshop offers practical advice on how to help learner drivers become safer drivers, and cover topics such as:
- How to use the Learner Driver Log Book
- Planning driving sessions
- How to deal with difficulties that may arise during driving practice
- The importance of giving your learner constructive feedback.
