Coogee is shining a little brighter after the installation of beautiful festoon lighting along Coogee Bay Road, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for locals and visitors enjoying the area at night. Randwick City Council installed the decorative string lights last week between Arden Street and Brook Street, just in time for the launch of its new open-street event series Coogee Nights, which kicked off on Wednesday 4 March 2026.
