Anzac Day Coogee Dawn Service 2023

Anzac Day is a National day of remembrance and commemoration. Commemorative services are held each year at dawn, the time of the original Gallipoli landing. The Coogee Anzac Day Dawn Service is produced in collaboration with the Coogee Randwick Clovelly RSL sub-branch, and will be held at 5.30am on Tuesday 25 April at Goldstein Reserve, Coogee. Weekday access to Little Bay Beach will be restricted from early May 2023 for up to three months as work commences to widen the timber staircase used to access the beach. Currently, Little Bay Beach can only be formally accessed via a single set of steep, narrow timber stairs. The narrow stairs make access difficult, particularly in summer when thousands of beach goers visit the beach daily carrying beach gear, eskies, fishing rods and scuba gear.
