Recycle a range of household items for free at problem waste drop-off events throughout the year. Problem wastes cannot be recycled through standard facilities and often require specific machines or processes to recycle them. Only certain materials are accepted at these events, so please have a look at the list of materials below. Free Family Friendly Art Exhibition Trail Around Sydney Harbour – ‘Waterfront Whale Tales’

A spectacular outdoor exhibition of 30 two-metre-high whale tail sculptures is expected to attract up to half a million visitors to experience Sydney’s Western Harbour between August 11 and September 24. Coral Sea Park Inclusive playspace now open for everyone to play

A new inclusive playspace in Maroubra’s Coral Sea Park will be opened by the Hon Anthony Roberts, Minister for Planning and Homes and Mayor Dylan Parker on Wednesday 3 August. Council received $200,000 funding from the NSW Government’s Everybody Can Play program to upgrade the existing playground and create a world class playspace that has been designed to include everyone in the community.
