Waverley Council is inviting the community to check out our plans for our new barbecue facilities at Bronte Park. The Council will be installing four new accessible barbeques in the park near the existing picnic shelters, including one near the children’s playground. Bronte Park is one of Waverley’s most popular picnic spots for families visiting the beach and ocean pool. It is also a popular exercise spot on the Bondi to Bronte Coastal Walk and a place to relax. Newmarket Fair to light up Randwick from ‘dawn to dusk’ this April

Newmarket Randwick will be transformed into a ‘dawn to dusk’ spectacle of wellness, florals, live music, wine tasting and glowing light installations as they launch the first Newmarket Fair, running from Thursday 28th April to Sunday 1st May. Come and join to plant a native shrub in Sydney Park. Everyone is welcome to help restore native vegetation at this community planting event in Sydney Park. You’ll help with the City of Sydney’s efforts to restore 14 hectares of bushland for native conservation and biodiversity protection. Please dress sun-safe.
