Where and how long have you lived in Sydney’s east:

My family moved to the East over 25 years ago from Sydney’s south.

How many children:

We have 2 beautiful children: Alliya, 11 and Dominic, 7.

Favourite Park:

Centennial Park, the park has endless activities for all ages, the running track, and nice coffee shop, feed ducks, ride a horse or just pack a picnic and seat under a tree.

Favourite Beach:

My kids love the surf and we tend to spend a lot of time at Maroubra Beach; however I prefer to go to Mahon Pool, and Clovelly Beach for snorkelling.

Favourite kid friendly cafe:

Not really a café, but I do find Backyard Italian or Coogee Diggers great for kids – both have fantastic areas for kids to play.

Favourite Coffee Spot:

My favourite coffee spot is Pool Café at Maroubra.

Favourite date night place:

The Spot in Randwick, Thai or tapas for dinner, movie at the Randwick Ritz, and finish the night with dessert at Kurtosh.

Favourite Local Day Out Activity:

We enjoy taking the kids for a walk from Maroubra to Coogee. Exploring areas of Maroubra (especially when it is low tide) and walking through the Coogee boardwalk then brunch or lunch at Coogee.

Favourite Local Shop:

Pacific Square in Maroubra Junction, great for parking, has everything you need in one place and convenient.

Describe an ideal day in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs for you?

A sleep in! Brunch at the local cafe. Then head to Maroubra Beach and have a play (possibly have another coffee) and whilst the kids are playing have conversation with my husband.

If the weather permits, a spin around Heffron Park with the kids, on their bikes/scooters. End the day with cheeky wine over dinner at another local restaurant (maybe the kids can recommend a place – they also have their own favourites restaurants in the East).

What area of the East have you yet to explore much but would like to?

There are a lot of areas in the East I am yet to explore. Bronte, Tamarama, just to name a few

Work or SAHM:

I think as a mum we all work – maybe not running a business, working for someone else but we are a Chauffeur, Chef, PA, HR, Educator to our children.

But for what I do – yes I work. I am a Civil Marriage Celebrant, I enjoy running my own business and meeting so many beautiful people. My work also allows me to travel around New South Wales, discovering venues and hidden treasures. Aside from marriages, I also conduct naming, renewal of vows and commitment ceremonies. I am very lucky to have had the opportunity to marry my closest friends.

Aside from being a Celebrant, I also work at UNSW as EA/ Project Officer at the Business School.  How do I juggle it all? I don’t know! But I am grateful that I am able to manage being a Celebrant, Full-time work, Mum and Wife.

If you are looking to celebrate your child’s naming, renew your vows or getting married?
