Two Murals That Will Always Remain
While most murals are temporary, two artworks have become such treasured parts of Bondi’s history that they’ve been preserved permanently.
One honours Chloe Byron, a local young woman who tragically lost her life in the 2002 Bali bombings. Titled The Girl with a Frangipani in Her Hair, the mural remains a touching tribute to her memory.
The second is the Anzac commemorative mural, created to honour the courage and sacrifice of Australia’s servicemen and women.
