Looking for a fun and engaging activity to introduce your child to another language? Green Square Library is hosting a free Bilingual Storytime each week, giving preschoolers the opportunity to enjoy stories, songs and rhymes in both English and Mandarin.
Designed for children aged 3 to 5 years and their parents or carers, these interactive sessions help build early literacy skills while encouraging language development and celebrating cultural diversity.
A Fun Way to Learn Through Stories
Each 30-minute session features a wonderful mix of storytelling, singing and rhymes presented in both English and Mandarin. Children will enjoy listening to engaging stories, joining in with songs and interacting with other families in a welcoming library environment.
Bilingual Storytime not only supports a love of reading but also helps children develop listening, communication and early language skills while introducing them to Mandarin in a relaxed and enjoyable way.
