Football fever is coming to Bondi this June as Waverley Council brings the excitement of the FIFA World Cup to one of Sydney’s most iconic locations.

A giant live viewing site will be set up at North Bondi Park on Ramsgate Avenue, giving locals and visitors the chance to watch World Cup matches on the big screen while enjoying the stunning backdrop of Bondi Beach.

Located at the northern end of Bondi Beach, North Bondi Park is just steps away from the sand, making it the perfect place to relax, soak up the atmosphere and cheer on your favourite team with family and friends.

A Great Family-Friendly Event

One of the best things about the Bondi World Cup screenings is that they take place during the daytime, making them ideal for families with children. Instead of staying up late to watch matches, parents and kids can enjoy the excitement together in a safe, outdoor environment.

Pack a picnic rug, blanket or low-lying chair and spend the day by the beach while watching some of the world’s best football teams compete. There’s plenty of open space for children to play, and the relaxed community atmosphere makes it a fun outing for all ages.

Best of all, the event is completely free and no bookings are required.
