Matraville Youth & Cultural Hall is located on the corner of Knowles & Pozieres Avenue, adjacent to a large open space reserve. The large hall offers space for a range of activities such as dance or yoga classes, forums, meetings, birthday parties and workshops. With modern kitchen facilities and an accessible bathroom, undercover awning area and tables and chairs. The facility was opened in 2024 and represents a high quality venue suitable for all types of events. The venue is wheelchair accessible with ample on-street parking including EV charging stations and bike racks.
How to Apply:
- The first thing you need to do is contact Council’s Call Centre on 1300 722 542 to enquire if the hall is available on the date you prefer.
- Once a booking date has been agreed verbally, a tentative booking is held for 7 days. You are then required to complete the Application form.
- If your application is successful a confirmation email will then be sent to you confirming the booking. Payment via Bpoint will be required by the due date on the letter. Non receipt of payment by the due date will result in cancellation of your booking.

- Monday to Friday from 8am to 9pm.
- Saturday & Sunday from 8am to 9pm.
