The Randwick Council is excited to be hosting a special community celebration to reopen the newly renovated Alison Park Playground and the whole community is invited!
Alison Park playground has been upgraded to create a new playspace which caters for children of all ages and abilities. This playground’s design follows ideas from local children and their families to include new paving, playground equipment, rubber softfall, bike hoops, picnic tables and a drinking fountain with new shrubs and groundcovers. The new playground is bright and engaging, with fun features like an in-ground trampoline, run wheel and nest swing.
Randwick Mayor Philipa Veitch will formally open the playground following a Welcome to Country.
The celebrations will kick on with live music by Anthony Cianci and Jake Edgley. There will be free ice-cream and coffee for community members, and bubbles for the kids.
Mayor Veitch is scheduled to speak at approximately 3.30pm. There are limited supplies of ice-cream and coffee, so community members are encouraged to arrive on time to avoid disappointment.
