Creative Kids Art Classes for age 5 to 9 years old

Young Artists for age 10 – 15 years old – We target talented children age 10 to 15 years old, who are showing interest in developing their artistic skills, creating professional artworks and exhibiting in local art exhibitions. Each student will have their own easel to work on, including canvases, paint and all art materials. Throughout the term, we discover the world of art through a variety of themes: landscape, portraiture, abstract painting, still life, figurative art and more. The students will explore a wide variety of art mediums such as acrylic painting on canvas, drawing and shading with pencils, charcoal, coloured ink, watercolours, pastels, mixed media and more…

A special art class for those who are interested in drawing and sketching. Students learn the fundamentals of drawing and how to develop their artistic skills and creative imagination.

Art parties are so memorable and fun!
Our creative parties are so much fun as kids get to wear colourful artist hats and make their own masterpiece. Our popular workshops are painting on canvas and clay creations. Our lovely tutors will guide the kids step by step for the ultimate creative experience! The party runs for 2 hours and is hosted at our beach side studio with ocean views and a lovely park for parents to hang out. You can bring light snacks and a cake, we provide everything else!

Adult Art Classes & Workshops
If you feel like getting creative yourself, join our day or evening art classes for adults. No previous experience is required, just book your first class to enjoy a relaxing time at The Art Studio. We provide all the materials and flexible art class passes, so it’s super easy to get started! We also offer one off weekend workshops on Saturdays afternoon, a great opportunity to share some creative time with a friend.

Our bright and airy art studio is decorated with all students’ creations and is conveniently located at the north end of Maroubra Beach across the street from the lovely Mahon rock pool. (above the Pool Cafe on Level 1) Plenty of parking across the road.
