Eastern Suburbs mum Shelly Vernon worked at Van Peterson’s boutique shop in Walton Street over twenty years ago where she fell in love with their jewellery. Years later she has partnered with Eric Van Peterson to bring his stunning collection to Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific and Asia.
The Van Peterson’s Story begins in London in the late 1970s with a small stall in Camden Lock Market which then moved to a boutique premises on Walton Street in Chelsea.
Taking inspiration from extensive travels around the world, and interest in gemstones and symbolism, Van Peterson’s jewellery designs strike a fine balance between eclectic and contemporary, making them a firm favourite amongst fashion stylists. Many of Van Peterson’s pieces have been featured in glossy magazines like Harpers Bazaar, Tatler, Elle and Vogue, as well as the fashion pages of major newspapers.
Throughout its thirty five years, Van Peterson have established themselves as a high end designer jewellery brand, with a loyal client base that includes some famous names like actress Charlize Theron, fashion models Poppy and Cara Delevigne, and music legend Annie Lennox.
