Spotlight Prowl for Families 2024

Dusk is a wonderful time to spot animals in Centennial Parklands. The Park is home to a variety of nocturnal creatures, from brushtail possums, microbats, and tawny frogmouths to one of Sydney’s largest colonies of grey-headed flying-foxes. Free inclusive fun at Redleaf

Woollahra Council is hosting a free, inclusive afternoon of play, art and games with a difference on November 30. The Let’s Get Creative event is designed to lead up to International Day of People with a Disability on December 3, and is timed to coincide with the launch of local disability services provider Inala’s exhibition at the Woollahra Gallery at Redleaf. Ten years ago, Sydney mum Megan Maack’s world fell apart after she was told both her young children, then aged two and four, had a rare terminal illness. A disease with no known cure that would progressively take away their words, mobility, learnt skills and ability to communicate and most likely end their lives as teenagers.
