Great news for local families! The popular Rose Bay Cottage Playgroup is expanding, giving parents and carers even more opportunities to connect with other local families while their little ones learn and play.
Thanks to additional funding from Woollahra Council, provided through community organisation Holdsworth, the playgroup will expand from two days a week to five days a week during school terms.
From 21 July, families can attend the playgroup Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm, creating even more opportunities for local parents, carers and children to benefit from this valuable community service.
Playgroups play an important role in supporting families with young children. They provide a welcoming environment where parents and carers can meet others in the community, share experiences, build friendships and access support when needed.
For babies, toddlers and preschoolers, the playgroup offers plenty of opportunities for fun, learning and social interaction through a range of engaging activities. Sessions include creative and sensory play, imaginative play experiences, story and rhyme time, guest speakers and much more.
One of the best things about the Rose Bay Cottage Playgroup is that there is no need to book ahead. Families can simply turn up and join in. The program is also great value at just $6 per day, making it an accessible option for local families looking for quality play-based activities.
If you’re looking for a friendly and welcoming playgroup in the Eastern Suburbs, the Rose Bay Cottage Playgroup is well worth a visit.
