North Bondi RSL ANZAC Day Service 2026
Looking for a local way to commemorate ANZAC Day with your family? The North Bondi RSL ANZAC Service is a heartfelt community gathering just moments from the beach.
Held on Saturday 25 April 2026 from 6:00am to 7:00am, this traditional service takes place at 118–120 Ramsgate Avenue, North Bondi and welcomes locals of all ages to come together in remembrance.
This moving ceremony honours the courage, sacrifice and service of Australian and New Zealand servicemen and women. Through reflection, prayer and tradition, the community pauses to pay tribute to those who have served—and those who continue to serve today.
What to expect
The service includes a formal program featuring a welcome, ANZAC Day address, wreath laying, the Last Post, a two-minute silence, and the Australian and New Zealand national anthems. The Catafalque Party will also be mounted as part of the ceremony, adding to the significance of the occasion.
A few tips for families:
- Arrive early to secure a good spot
- Dress warmly—it can be chilly at dawn by the coast
- A respectful and quiet atmosphere is encouraged, making it a great opportunity to teach kids about the meaning of ANZAC Day
The service concludes just after 7am, leaving time for a post-service coffee or breakfast nearby with family and friends.
All members of the community are warmly invited to attend.
