It’s a beautiful time of year for markets and we have a bounty of fabulous events on over the next four days for everyone to enjoy. Come along, eat, shop and enjoy being in your community. This is what’s on.
Our weekend of markets kicks off today with the Martin Place Christmas Markets taking place in the Sydney CBD today, tomorrow and on Saturday. This great mixed market takes place beside the city’s giant Christmas tree, with this week’s stalls including Azteca Margarita, with their natural margarita mixes, Houseworx Christmas offering snow globes and stockings and Francesca Mastrogiovanni’s Sicilian and Italian sweets. It’s on 11am-8pm in Martin Place, Sydney.
Then tomorrow night we have two evening food events: DJ Nights Under the Bridge at Rhodes, and Kia Friday Night Racing at Canterbury Racecourse. DJ Nights takes place at John Whitton Reserve, Rhodes, from 5pm-10pm, with 35 food and drink stalls including Mad Dough jumbo doughnuts, Unexpected Guest distillery with gin tastings, beer, cocktails and gift boxes, and Marakana Burek, with flaky pastries. There will also be plenty of music. Canterbury will be back with 40 stalls and plenty of activities for the family. The food ranges from homemade dumplings to teppanyaki noodles and potato twists. It’s on 5pm-9pm at the racecourse.
Then on Sunday our regular Wentworth Point Market is on again. This is an excellent produce-forward market that will also feature lots of gifting this weekend. Stalls include Mr and Miss Pancakes, Maine and Mara, offering edgy statement jewellery handmade in Sydney, and Natura paws with their fair trade collars and dog food. Wentworth Place, Wentworth Point, 9am-2pm.
Pittwater Christmas Market – a call for stalls
And don’t forget our rescheduled Pittwater Christmas Market is on this Saturday. This market is on this weekend after being delayed last weekend due to the extreme heat. It will be a wonderful market of shopping, eating and entertainment by the sea and a fabulous Northern Beaches community event. Come along; stalls include Sea Shells Surf with surf board covers and more, Wood n Art b Nice with wall art and homewares all created in their Sydney studio and the Coin Tree, a local Northern Beaches business selling sterling silver jewellery,

Pittwater Christmas Market will be held from 10am-4pm at Winnereremmy Bay Park, Mona Vale.
