Seeking a fun way to celebrate summer with the kids? You’re in luck – Everyone’s favourite live music series has returned to Cockatoo Island / Wareamah for another season!

Running Saturday evenings from 13 January to 6 April, Sunset Sessions is an opportunity for families to have a picnic on the lawns of historic Biloela House, enjoy a jaw-dropping view of Sydney Harbour, and unwind in the company of some of the best local performers. 

For the shows scheduled between 13 January to 16 March, doors open at 5pm and close at 8pm. For the shows on 23 March, 30 March and 6 April, doors open at 4pm and close at 7pm.

Who’s playing?

This year, Sunset Sessions will feature a diverse line-up of 24 musicians, including First Nations artists, across 12 dates. In addition to original songs spanning multiple genres, you can expect some inspired covers. So… don’t expect any two shows to be the same! If you ask us, that’s a great excuse to book multiple shows!

What does it cost?

Tickets for each show are just $35 person – and children 12 & under FREE with a paying adult. Plus, you’ll be able to purchase food and refreshments from the venue, courtesy of Cockatoo Island’s Marina Café & Bar.

Like what you hear? Grab tickets for your family  and plan your trip to Cockatoo Island. The easiest way to get to Cockatoo Island is by public ferry. The F3 and F8 services operate to Cockatoo Island daily, departing from Circular Quay and Barangaroo as well as from wharves along Parramatta River.
