Hello my name is Sara Bazzoni, proud mum of two young daughters.  Read more about our family life and the fundraise event our family pizza restaurant is organising this Saturday 20th May, to help Epilepsy Action Australia to raise much needed funds for children with epilepsy.

Where and how long have you lived in Sydney’s east?

I currently live in Hillsdale and have been living in the East since 2011 when we moved to Sydney from Italy.

Three words that describe what it’s like to live in the eastern suburbs?

Safe, multicultural and attractive.

How many children?

I have 2 girls age 6 and 3.

Favourite Park:

Heffron Park Maroubra, very spacious and close to home. We love the playground there too.

Favourite Beach:

Little Bay! Such a gem and it reminds me of Italy

Favourite kids friendly cafè:

Coogee Pav, you can eat while your kids play, the food there is pretty good too.

Favourite Coffee Spot:

Rockpool cafe Malabar, and the view there is spectacular.

Favourite date night place:

Sugarcane in Coogee, amazing food and the atmosphere is great.

Where in the east have you yet to explore and would like to ?

I would love to explore more of Vaucluse,Rose Bay and Dover Heights and their scenic walks.

What would you like to see improve in the eastern suburbs?

We definitely need a indoor playground and more cafe/ restaurant with play areas.

Favourite Local Shop:

Myer.

Favourite wet weather location:

Lunch at Maroubra Bay Pub.

Favourite Local family Weekend Activity?

We love going to Yarra Bay beach or Chifley Playground.

Work or SAHM?

I work part time during the week so I am available for the girls after school, and help at the restaurant on the weekends.

Motherly advice?

Be kind to yourself and never  compare to other mums, we are all different and motherhood is very challenging.

Make your own pizza and help a great cause!

The wonderful Nude-fan Erin is running half a marathon to raise money for Epilepsy Action Australia to honour her daughter Luella who was diagnosed with infantile spasms, also known as West syndrome at 11 weeks old. It’s  a charity close to her heart, so we’re keen to help. And what better way to do so, than with pizza?! 🍕🤤

Let your kid, neighbour, nephew or other loved little one pop by for a pizza-making session on Saturday 20 May – all $$$ will go to support this special charity!
