Where and how long have you lived in Sydney’s east:

We live in Maroubra, I have lived in the east since I first moved to Sydney from Auckland 6 years ago. As luck had it, the hospital where I worked was
in the east, and then I met my husband who also lived in the east! Looks like we are here to stay.

How many children:

One son, Rafael, he’s a delightful 2.5 year old

Favourite Park:

The little park on Frenchmans Rd, I love that it’s enclosed and close to great coffee shops, which is a must when meeting up with friends! We love that
we can chat and know our kids are safe in the park, while drinking coffee!

Favourite Beach:
I’m so torn! The east is full of beauties! I love Coogee because it was home for so long, I also however love Neilson Park as it’s
where we had our wedding photos

Favourite kid friendly cafe:

The Shed in The Royal Randwick Shopping Centre… I love that they have a play area
for kids, it’s handy for straight after the gym, they do the best coffee and their chicken salad is to die for.

Favourite Coffee Spot:

We truly are spoilt in the East for fantastic coffee, I really enjoy going to Porch & Parlour in Bondi. Their coffee is top notch, the view is sensational
and there is some sunshine to sit in. This is usually best enjoyed solo.

Favourite date night place:

Date night! That hardly ever happens!!! I love The Clovelly Hotel, especially if
a good band are playing, and we can have a dance and believe we are still young and free!

Favourite Local Day Out Activity:

I really enjoy getting down to the Bondi Markets, sitting in the sunshine with friends and eating fresh, yummy food, listening to music and letting the
kids run amuck.

Favourite Local Shop:

I like shops too much! I’m loving the Whole Foodie Co in Bream Street Coogee, the
range in there is spectacular and Bec who runs it is a like minded soul, so it feels super homey going in there for a chat, and she doesn’t mind Rafa
rumouging through the shelves!

Favourite wet weather location:

The library! I think the local libraries are such a wonderful place for kids to play a little and get to explore books and use their imagination. I also
love that there are great activities to attend for free.

Describe an ideal day in Sydney’s eastern suburbs for you?

Going out for breakfast with my family, strolling through the shops and then jumping on the ferry from Rose Bay to Watsons Bay, meeting friends for dinner
at the beach, taking an evening dip in the ocean.

What areas of the east have you yet to explore much but would like to?

I would love to walk around the headland at Watsons Bay, once Rafa’s little legs are stronger I’m sure we can all do that

Work or SAHM:

I am a children’s nutritionist at
Dandelion Nutrition

It’s my dream job as my passion is helping families flourish and helping mums understand how to help their children naturally. I also teach essential oil
workshops, educating families on introducing the oils into their every day lives.
You can follow me on Facebook or Instagram, both are Dandelion Nutrition

I have been lucky enough to also work as a nurse at Sydney Children’s Hospital for the last 6 years, where you will find me in the allergy clinic and food challenge.

Motherly advice :

I just read this quote “The real secret of happiness is not what you have or what you receive, it’s what you share’
Isn’t that beautiful? I love to think that we all can share the load, share the love, share the worries, share the joy, and share the drama. We really
should all reach out and connect more in our big little village in Sydney!
