Where and how long have you lived in Sydney’s East:

Nine years ago I separated from my husband and moved from country life in The Southern Highlands to a safe enclave in Darling Point. I then made a lifestyle move to North Bondi, where I would walk barefoot to work to teach yoga at North Bondi next to the Surf Club. Now I am ensconced at Mackenzies Bay in Tamarama and am so lucky to live and work in such a beautiful part of Sydney.

How many children:

Three: Jack, Charlie, Hamish

All these years I’ve had three sons and now my middle child Charlie has come out as transgender, so I am looking forward to getting to know my daughter!

Favourite Park:

Centennial Park is magical with so many different areas to explore. I love to walk amongst the trees, roll on the grass and breathe the fresh air.

Favourite Beach:

Bondi Beach is my beach of choice and I am there every day at some stage whether walking, swimming, working out at Icebergs or practicing yoga on the steps down by the sea.

When, occasionally, the beach appears at Mackenzies it is the ultimate.

Favourite Kid Friendly Cafe:

The Tea Gardens, Watsons Bay is an awesome place for coffee and brunch after Anna Campbell puts you through the paces of her fabulous Mums and Bubs Class.

Favourite Coffee Spot:

Authentic Italian at Barbetta, Paddington. Service with a smile from one of the handsome waiters.

Favourite Date Night Place:

SEFA Kitchen, Bondi

I love the intimacy, shared plates and amazing food.

Favourite Local Day Out Activity:

I am a sailing fanatic and am so happy to be out on one of the big yachts competing in a racing series on Sydney Harbour. I’ve done a sailing course, so I’m actually an asset and happy to be one of the boys!

Favourite Local Shop:

Tuchuuzy in Bondi hands down. Daria has an eye for unbeatable style. My favourite purchase to date and much admired are my gold boots from NYC which are often found on my feet at my
spa To Wonderland and feature in the window campaign. I love them so much I bought a second pair for when they wear out.

Favourite Wet Weather Location:

SCG Stadium Fitness Club

There’s something for everyone; gym, pool, spa, steam, sauna, fitness studio, tennis, squash, creche, Azure Cafe, football and cricket! I used to be the Yoga and Meditation PT here before buying into my Spa. It’s a community, in fact I’m here now answering these questions.

Describe an ideal day in Sydney’s eastern suburbs for you?

The best day for me always features breakfast, lunch or dinner with my kids, a yoga and gym session, a walk on the beach and the rest I like to make up as I go.

Spontaneity for me is key!

What area of the east have you yet to explore much but would like to:

The harbour beaches between Watson’s Bay and Rose Bay are so special. I walked the coastline with my friend Frenchie and had a funday out but have not been back.. find me there soon.

Work or SAHM:

I own To Wonderland Wellness Spa in North Bondi and am there most days. With my own children grown-up, the spa is my new baby and as such requires plenty of TLC.

Motherly Advice:

Chase your wildest dreams and never, ever give up!
