Where and how long have you lived in Sydney’s east:
I have lived in the eastern suburbs ever since we arrived in Australia over 30 years ago. We began in Bondi and now live in Malabar.
How many children:
We have 3 beautiful but cheeky kids. Max, 10, Amelia 7 and Hannah 3.
My family’s favourite park to visit regularly are Malabar Beach park because it is nearby, plenty of parking and has a grass area for Max to play with my husband Igor AFL and the girls enjoy the playground.
I know this is going to sound strange to a lot of people but we don’t love going to the beach. I hate sand and the clean up that goes with it! We are pool people and as we have our own pool it is so much easier for me with 3 kids to just go to our pool for a swim. However, I do know how good a beach experience is for kids so we do go occasionally and the one that we love going to is either Little Bay or Coogee.
Favourite kid friendly cafe:
We love Bellagio on Albion Street, Waverley for a kid friendly Café as it has a great outdoor back area with toys for kids to play with.
Favourite Coffee Spot:
Our favourite coffee spot is our local coffee shop in Malabar called Nostimo.
Favourite date night place:
Favourite Local Day Out Activity:
My favourite local day out would have to be a day at Darling Harbour with my whole family. I just love the restaurants there and the great playground and showing kids what is iconic about Sydney. We also love going on a ferry.
Favourite Local Shop:
My favourite local shop is the butcher in Pacific Square and Perfection in Rose Bay for amazing gifts made from chocolate!
Favourite wet weather location:
My kids love Skyzone when its wet as they can jump and I love to jump on the trampolines and I love to jump with them.
Describe an ideal day in Sydney’s eastern suburbs for you?
An ideal for me would have to a hot summer day where I spend the whole day by the pool with my kids and have a bbq and eat ice cream with our close friends.
What area of the east have you yet to explore much but would like to?
I don’t think there is one to be honest!
Work or SAHM:
Work! I love what I do now. I was a bookkeeper for the last decade and finally made the change to become a nutritionist in the last few years and opened InnaMeHealth. Nutrition has always been a huge passion in my life. I love food and being healthy and I love that I get to make an impact in people’s life and help them repair the relationship they have with food.
Motherly advice :
I think the best advice I can give is worry about the things you can control and learn from the things that your can’t.
Connect with Inna:
