EASTER ROCKS!

The Rocks is an egg-cellent place to be during the Easter weekend, with a heap of exciting activities and treats for the whole family.

On Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 April 10am – 4pm head to The Rocks for an Easter Egg Hunt, where participants can collect a map from 105 George St alfresco area and explore the hidden laneways to uncover the secret password that will unlock a chocolatey prize and a chance to win a $200 gift voucher from Parker’s Fine Art Supplies. Don’t forget to also check out the FREE face painting session before you go on a rocky adventure.

For more Easter-themed treats, head to the delectable Alice in Wonderland themed buffet at Shangri-La Sydney or try out hot cross scones at The Tea Cosy. Creperie Suzette will be serving up Easter Crepes, drizzled with Nutella, and if you’re heading down to the harbour, make sure to grab Tea Cosy’s Easter Picnic Basket, filled with Egg Chive Sandwiches and House Made Carrot Cake.

Starbucks and french pastry icon La Renaissance are also offering fresh hot cross buns that are not to be missed. Don’t forget to check out The Rocks Markets during the weekend as well! The market boasts a plethora of delights to elevate the Easter celebration. Indulge in hand-crafted chocolate, fudge and grab a little toy for the little ones. For the parents, sip on some perfect Limoncello and

Ginello Libations at Maria River Distillery and Mapo Gelato will also be on hand to cool you down with their freshly churned gelato.

For the history buffs, The Rocks Discovery Museum is hosting the Dancing in Fetters School Holiday Program where kids can step back in time and dress up like convicts to immerse in the sights, sounds, and movements of the past. This free, educational program is an excellent way for the little ones to learn about convict life (Tuesday 11 – Friday 14 April and Monday 17 – Friday 21 April).

Tickets are priced at just $16.95 per child, and include participation in all activities, an Aboriginal Cultural Tour of the Reserve, and stories about endangered Australian animals and how we can help protect their habitats. Accompanying adults can join for free, but spaces are limited, so booking is essential!
