Greater Sydney Parklands invites you to share your ideas on plans for a new public park and golf offer within Moore Park.

The proposal by the NSW Government will transform 20 hectares of Moore Park South into green open space for community recreation in one of the densest parts of the city. This decision responds to the needs of the growing communities surrounding Moore Park.

The community is now being asked to share views on how they would like to use the new park and how the existing golf offering at Moore Park could be reimagined.

Consultation will be open until 10 April 2024.

Future of Moore Park South Discussion Paper

The Discussion Paper released by the NSW Government outlines the decision to transform an area on the western side of Moore Park Golf Course on the north of Dacey Avenue to public open space while retaining the 9-hole golf course, driving range and clubhouse.

We want to hear from you

The NSW Government has asked Greater Sydney Parklands to consult with the community and stakeholders about the ideas and considerations outlined in the Discussion Paper.

We want your views on what you would like to see and do in the new parkland, opportunities to reimagine golf at Moore Park South, and any other ideas or barriers you identify.

Understanding what is important to you will help shape the new park and golf offer.
