Glenayr Avenue Street Party Returns to Bondi This Spring

Spring is here, and Bondi is getting ready to celebrate with the return of the Glenayr Avenue Street Party on Saturday 10 October 2026.

Glenayr Avenue will come alive for a full day of live music, street food, kids’ entertainment and community fun, making this a great local day out for Eastern Suburbs families.

A Spring Street Party in the Heart of Bondi

Waverley Council is transforming Glenayr Avenue into a lively pedestrian-friendly celebration from 11am to 8pm, bringing locals, families and visitors together to enjoy everything that makes Bondi such a vibrant neighbourhood.

Expect plenty happening throughout the day, with live entertainment, delicious street eats and activities for the kids.

Whether you pop down for lunch, stay for the entertainment or make an afternoon and evening of it with friends, there’ll be something for all ages to enjoy.

Best of all, the Glenayr Avenue Street Party is completely free and no bookings are required.

Getting There – Road Closures & Parking

With Glenayr Avenue being transformed for the event, there will be temporary road closures, traffic changes and parking restrictions in the surrounding area.

Road closures are scheduled to be in place on Saturday 10 October from 5am until 11.30pm.

There will also be changes to the 379 bus route, with the bus deviation commencing from 5am.

If you’re heading to the street party, consider using public transport where possible and allow some extra time for your journey.

Waverley Council will provide further details about road closures, parking restrictions and changed traffic conditions closer to the event. Residents directly affected will also receive additional information.
