If you’re craving a little calm before the week begins, Yoga Under the Bridge is a beautiful way to stretch, breathe and reset — and best of all, it’s completely free.

Held every Sunday morning at 8.30am and 9.30am, these outdoor yoga sessions take place at Dawes Point Park, right under the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge, at the corner of Lower Fort Street and George Street. It’s a peaceful, inspiring setting that feels worlds away from the usual Sunday rush.

Led by a resident yoga instructor, each session focuses on breathing, balance, strength, mobility and flexibility. The flowing movements act as an active meditation, helping to quiet busy minds, ease anxiety and gently strengthen the body — perfect whether you’re a busy mum or just need an hour to yourself.

The sessions are suitable for all levels, including beginners, and are open to all ages (with children accompanied by a parent or guardian). Just bring your own yoga mat, wear comfortable clothing and don’t forget water.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, Yoga Under the Bridge will move online, with one class available at 9.30am. Updates are shared via @therocks on Instagram, where you’ll also find the registration link for online sessions.

There’s no need to book for in-person classes — simply turn up and join in. A waiver form is required if you plan to participate.

A calm Sunday morning, fresh air and gentle movement — what more could you want?
