Randwick City Council is upgrading the playground in Ella Reserve, Lucas Avenue Malabar.
After consulting the community late last year, we have developed a concept design that has enlarged the play area and provides more play equipment, including opportunities for climbing.
The concept design includes:
- New climbing equipment
- Expanded play area with large mountain slide
- More inclusive play with a nest swing and wheelchair accessible spinner
- New shade structure, bubbler, tables and benches
- More plantings and grassed area for play inside the fence
