Join the Woollahra Council this International Women’s Day on Saturday, 8 March 2025, to celebrate women’s achievements and raise awareness about gender equality. International Women’s Day (IWD) is a global occasion that honours women and highlights the ongoing need for action to overcome systemic barriers to equality.

The theme for IWD 2025 is ‘Accelerate Action’, calling for urgent progress in addressing challenges women still face today. This year’s campaign encourages us to push harder for gender equality and a world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination—a world that values diversity and inclusion.
